Joan Wasylik is a seasoned communications leader with more than 25 years of international corporate and marketing communications experience, primarily in financial services & B2B sectors. Her background includes senior global or European roles with Ahlstrom (speciality papers), Cargill (commodity trading, food ingredients), Enron (energy), Siemens (medical) and WABCO (commercial vehicles). From 2003-2012 she served as director of corporate communications at GlobeOp Financial Services, a leading hedge fund administrator, in London. She moved to Paris in 2012 as global head of communications for Euler Hermes, an Allianz subsidiary and market leader in trade credit insurance. Wasylik is adept at positioning firms as industry thought leaders in support of business objectives. US and UK awards & commendations recognized positioning programs in the aftermath of the Madoff fraud & global financial crisis.
Currently resident in both Paris & London, Wasylik is a native of Canada & also holds a British passport & French residency. Having lived & worked in 8 countries, she speaks English, French & German fluently. She earned a master’s degree in public relations from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles & today mentors students in career planning.
