Brenda Deeley brings 20 years of experience leading award-winning strategic public relations programs for business organizations and public agencies. Her current and former Orange County clients include CHOC Children’s Hospital, City of Hope Orange County Cancer Center, FivePoint Communities, Hoag Hospital, Irvine Ranch Water District, John Wayne Airport, Orange County Community Foundation, Orange County Transportation Authority, Orange County Water District and Transportation Corridor Agencies.

Prior to becoming an independent consultant in 2018, Brenda spent more than 15 years as a senior leader with Porter Novelli in its Orange County office where she led client accounts, managed teams and had business development responsibilities. She also spearheaded Porter Novelli’s global Client Service Excellence initiative.

Brenda began her career in radio news – first as an announcer at KGMI-AM followed by acting general manager, operations director and morning news host for KZAZ-FM, a National Public Radio affiliate in Bellingham, Wash. She earned her bachelor’s degree in communications/broadcast journalism from the University of Washington and her master’s degree in political science with specialization in public policy and administration from Western Washington University.
